Year of 2020

It has been a difficult year for so many of us. I had to temporarily close my business, I attempted to donate time and money where and when I could, but I also found extra time for me and my craft.

Counter clockwise starting from the left:
  • Participated in a National Arts Drive putting on an art show on my driveway (various portraits drawn with both soft and oil pastels of myself and my children, George Floyd and Breonna Taylor)
  • Drew portraits of friends' dogs (Willow drawn in soft pastel)
  • Completed a portrait on my driveway (Cooper painted in non-toxic tempera)
  • Painted a portrait of two strong women on a 4 x 8 foot board for a community project at Duke and Shanley Streets in Kitchener (Selam Debbs and Carla Beharry painted in acrylic)
  • Participated in Belmont Village's Bestival Festival (Joy Kagawa, past and present, drawn with soft pastel)
